What I knew about this book going in - having read 1974 - was that it was likely to be dark, bleak and grim, with a slightly annoying confusing style at times but a page-turning pace.All that was true. But the big thing that it had going for it was I wanted to know what happened next. Well I just finished it and I'm still not sure what happened. Who was the killer? Was it Rudkin? Douglas?
