The Magicians' Guild: Number 1 in series: Black Magician Trilogy, Book 1
(3 1/2 stars)Very much the first part of a trilogy, whilst a book in its own right it definitely feels like part of a much longer story and for that reason, for me, felt a little slow. Picked up towards the end and there was enough intriguing questions that I'll probably read the other two.
